Despite no success on his trip to Spain, on his way back Adam Ondra did 8c+ in St-Léger du Ventoux, France,  not onsight, but "retroonsight", as he explained.

The Fanatic Climbing Facebook page reported:



Adam Ondra then explained us that it was not onsight, because he did an attempt 8 years ago in the bottom part of the route. Now he climbed the bottom part in "retroonsight" and only the upper part onsigt.

Before Adam Ondra informed:

It has been hard trip. Just when I arrived to Spain, I got sick and spent a few days in the bed. Since then I have been recovering, but I am not back in the shape where I would like to be (and was). Sad to be almost leaving with all my projects untouched, but they will not run away. Pic in "Directa Cornualles" 8c in Siurana, failed to onsight.
