Adam Ondra won the World Cup of lead climbing in Chamonix, France today.

"He showed a completely sovereign and flawless performance, when he ran to the last step on the way in front of several thousand spectators...
The same result was also achieved by Japanese Tasei Homma, but thanks to the top from the semi-finals, Adam was able to celebrate a great comeback to the racing scene in the form of a gold medal," they commented on the performance on Facebook of the CHS.

Slovenia's Janja Garnbret won the women's category.
