American climbing legend Todd Skinner has passed away. 

According to rockandice.com Skinner was working a new route, Jesus Built My Hotrod, on the West Face of the Leaning Tower when the accident occured.  Details are slim, but his body has been recovered and it is suspected that the fall occured while decending fixed lines.
