The highest artificial ice fall in Czech Republic

The highest artificial ice fall for ice climbing in Czech Republic has been open in Vir, Ceskomorovska vrchovina (Bohemian-Moravian Heights), about 50 km northern from Brno.

The preparation took more trhee months. Five freezing nights has been now enough to create the highest ice climbing artificial wall in Czech Republic and may be in Europe.

On 40 meters high crag has been created 5 to 30 cm thickness of ice and there are prepared and by belay anchors equipped ice climbing lines of various degrees of climbing difficulty. It is purpoused for begginers and also for experts.
