Climbing in the popular rock area Sulov (close to Zilina, West of Slovakia) is endangered because of alleged breaking of nature protection regulation by climbers.

The reason according to information of the Slovak climbing association James shall be repeated breaking of climbing conditions (bivaque, setting of fireplace ...) there especialy by foreign mountaineers. The local preservation officials suggested solution by hammering out of bolts and total climbing prohibition in the area.
