A new book about legendary climber Wolfgang Güllich has been published in German. It names Wolfgang Güllich "Klettern heißt frei sein" (Climbing means to be free).

The authors are Wolfgang´s friend Tilmann Hepp and Thomas Ballenberger. The book has a plenty of photos and reproductions of handwritten remarks. The review of the book, interview with the author and samples of some chapters in pdf are on the site climbing.de. It has 272 pages, size of 24 x 29 cm, and price 48,- €.
Wolfgang Güllich belonged to the best world climbers, 15 years ago he climbed in Frankenjura, Bavaria, Germany, this time the hardest route on the world Action Directe 11 UIAA. Short time after that he died in a car accident.
