Text The Innsbruck town council gave permision to quarry this historical climbing area. This decision shoud affect the main sector and the upper sector were are about 100 climbing routes. <b>Planet Mountain</b> portal brought detailed information: <small>Officially the decision to enlargen the existing quarry is to render the entire area safe from rock fall, but many believe this is just a pretext and that the real reason lies, as so often, elsewhere and is connected to local market forces. The quarry was due to close is 2008.
