A unique landscape, excellent rock, easy access and climbing opportunities for any skill are the main ingredients of the worldwide success of Muzzerone and Eastern Liguria crags. The remarkable stylistic variety and, therefore, a wide choice of difficulties, spanning from slab routes to endurance overhang walls and multipitch routes make this area an amazing climbing spot. Davide Battistella, undeniably one of the most important protagonists amongst Italian climbers, after 14 years from his first guidebook give us an exhausting and detailed, up-to-date and careful review of these crags. This brand new guidebook intends to convey to the readers not only precious informations about the different sectors and each route, but as well feelings and glances evoking these wonderful walls facing the sea, even being far away, dreaming of being carried along on seagull wings, feeling the warm rock under the fingertips, smelling the scent of the maquis and hearing the sea waves. <b>The Author</b> <b>Davide Battistella</b>, (Venice, 1963) has started climbing in 1978 in Apuane Alps, Dolomites, focusing on "classic" routes. He has discovered later, on the wonderful crags surrounding the Muzzerone, free-climbing, opening and freeing a huge number of high-difficulty routes, working for the development of the area under a new perspective.While studying Medicine, he attends the fist free-climbing competitions in Bardonecchia, with good scores. He has become the trainer of Juniores Italian Freeclimbing Selection, helping new talented climbers to fulfill their potential.
