Besides the fact that Tomas Mrazek has not been very successful in the first World Cup competitions in lead climbing 2007 (he is the 4th at the moment), the Czech youth team, especially Adam Ondra (who is first in his category), have been successful.
Adam Ondra (14) has won the two last competitions of the European Youth Series in Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria) and in Leipzig (Germany) in July. It has lifted him to 1st place from the 10th when he competed in Imst (Austria).

10 young Czechs participated, 5 of them continued to finals. Martin Stranik (category A) and Adam Ondra (category B) reached the firsts postitions.
Silva Rajfova was 2nd in category of junior girls. Lucie Hrozova was the 3rd, Anna

The next competition EYS takes on the next weekend 21./22.07.2007 in Warsaw (Poland). Then there will be the World Championship in Equador ( 23.-26.08.2007).
Also the smallest Czech kids have been successful reacently. At the Youth Event in Ravenna (Italy) 22.-24.06.2007 Radovan Sifra and Jana Vincourkova won their categories.

The giant stalactite on the route Trela, 6c+ in Kalymnos has apparently broke off. 
Czech climber Martin Stranik did the 2nd PP climb of the route Bushman 11- in Moravian Karst (East of Czech Republic) on June 25. The route was first climbed by Adam Ondra three weeks ago on June 5, 2007.
The World Cup competition in bouldering in Fiera di Primiero on June 23rd, 2007: Silvie Rajfova finished 7th, Helena Lipenska 12th, Tomáš Mrázek 21st, Jiri Bradac 49th.
