The first Slovakian mountaineers reached Himalayan mountain Tilicho Peak (7134 m) on Saturday. But one of the three members of the succesful summit team died on the way down.

Frankenjura´s elite climber Markus Bock finished an old project that he considers as the most difficult route he ever has climbed and thinks it is harder than Action Directe 9a.

The Czech girl Silva Rajfová won the lead climbing competition of European Youth Cup in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, yesterday. Martin Stráník was 2nd.
