The international meeting of women mountaineers with more than 40 years tradition Rendez-Vous Hautes Montagnes (RHM) will take place this summer in a Czech sandstone area.
Markus Bock sent on April 8,2007 an old project of his friend Arno Dimmler. He needed four days in the route till he was able to climb all 40 moves. His suggestion to clasificate it was 8c+.
Adam Ondra (14) climbed in flash style the route Pekna usta, oci zelene, XIc in traditional climbing Czech sandstones area Zleb (Labe valley, Elbetal), on North of Bohemia.
China refused entrance of Prague mayor to climb Everest
China declined to allow to cross border to the mayor of the City of Prague, Pavel Bem, who is going there to climb Mount Everest with a small Czech-Slovak expedition. Therefore the expedition changed the plan and aims now to the ascent Everest from the South, Nepali side.
Three Czechs were in the first 10 of the absolute ranking in the finals of the Central European Cup in ski mountaineering 2007 in Jasna, Slovakia last week.
