Frankenjura: The new route harder than Action Directe?
Frankenjura´s elite climber Markus Bock finished an old project that he considers as the most difficult route he ever has climbed and thinks it is harder than Action Directe 9a.
"Sykorke was equally determined in the Frankenjura not only when repeating routes, but in particular when doing first ascents ... The line at the Waldkopf, which he had spotted, was possible to climb, but not by him. He tried for a while, but eventually left the project to his friend Wolfgang Güllich who then created one of the best known routes of the world: “Action Directe”."
