Legendary Czech climber and mountaineer Frantisek Kutta died after a long disease on November 18th 2004 at his age of 81. He had funeral on November 21st in Prague,

Frantisek Kutta was the author of plenty of the famous routes e.g. in High Tatras, Slovakia(Kutta´s plates on Batizovsky Peak), in Czech limestone (Srbsko), sandstone (Susky,...) or other areas.
He wrote some handbooks about climbing in the mid 40´s, too.
