Saturday 25th September 2004 - 21:50 Jan Zbranek wins, 2nd Jirous Přibil, 3rd Juraj Repčík (Slovakia), 4th Csaba Komondi (Hungary), 5th David Minařík, 6th Ondra Beneš, 7th Kuba Hlaváček, 8th Radovan Souček, 9th Tomáš Stejskal, 10th Petr Šindel, 11th Martin Spilka and 12th Michal Fišer. Men climbed 6 boulders in final. The winner did 3 tops, the others to 7th position were very equal with 2 tops.

Tomáš Mrázek was 2nd in difficulty on the famous Rock Master competition in Italian Arco last weekend. There were also two other Czechs who represented in speed: Libor Hroza was 7th, and Jiří Švácha 8th.
Slovakian climber Juraj Repcik climbed new project in Slovakian rocks at Visnove, he named it Proces and esimated it as 9a. It would be probably the first 9a in Slovakia.
The film named Vertical Frontier, which is about the history of climbing in Yosemites, won the mountaneering films category of the International Mountaineering Film Festival (also known as Festak). The event took place last weekend (August 26th-29th) in Teplice nad Metují, the north-eastern Czech town. The visitors trophy was awarded to the Austrian film called The Trip.
After climbing Akut (Cima Ovest) last year we agreed to cllimb another similarly hard route, graded 8b, a member of Czech mountain climbing representation team Stanislav Hovanec (nicknamed Kvak) writes in Czech version of this site www.lezec.cz.

There is on the site apricaonline.com written, that Tomas Mrazek is 1st-2nd with Alexandre Chabot ?, on the other site Federclimb.it there is result, which Tomas Mrazek reported to us from the place, that means he is the 2nd. ???
Results women: Angela Eiter (AUT), Bettina Schopf (AUT) and Alexandra Eyer (SUI).
14:00 - semifinal women: Tereza Kysilková (CZE) 15th - super, 4 steps from the final. Muriel Sarkány (BEL) was 11th. Helena Lipenská (CZE) 25th.
The final of men will start at 20:00.
8:30 - Tomas Mrazek continues to final (from the 2nd position same as Alexandre Chabot, FRA, the 1st in semifinal was Flavio Crespi, ITA). Juraj Repčík (SK) 12th, Jan Zbranek (CZ) 27th, Ondrej Švub (SK) 46th.
