Slovak junior Eliáš Kysela equaled the highest standard of Slovak performance on rocks and recorded routes Amuerte 9a and Furia de jabali 9a+ in Siurana to his climbing diary. This was reported by the Slovak Mountaineering Association.
At the Ski Mountaineering World Cup in Boí Taüll, Spain, over the weekend, Czech Eva Matějovičová finished 12th in the sprint semifinals. Her brother Filip Matějovič finished 57th in the sprint qualifiers.

The Youth World Championships in ice climbing are being held today and tomorrow in Malbun, Liechtenstein, with a relatively large contingent from Czechia taking part. The competition consists of lead and speed climbing.

Adam Ondra has released a new video of his attempt to flash the Big Nose 8C boulder in the Fionnay area of Switzerland shortly after he managed to flash Foundation's Edge 8C in the same area on the same day in November. The video is about 18 minutes long and also shows Adam's struggle on the Fuck the System 8C+ boulder. You can watch it here:
