Czech climber Jan Kříž finished on the 9th place on the the World Cup speed climbing competition in Edinburgh, UK. There were Czech climbers participating in lead climbing competition too, who finished: Tomáš Binter 49th and Jakub Dvořák 50th.

Winners of the 34th International Mountaineering Film Festival in Teplice nad Metuji (Adrspach), Nord East Bohemia, Czech Republic. The Grand Prize was given to INTO TWIN GALAXIES – A GREENLAND EPIC, Germany, Austria about kayaking in Greenland.
Martin Stráník finished today on 15th place on semi-finales / finals of European Championship in bouldering in Munich, Germany that took place there as a part of the World Cup competiton in bouldering.
Czech mountaineers Marek Holeček and Zdeněk Hák climbed in alpin style first ascent of South West Face on Gasherbrum I (8068 m). They informed about it on Instagram and on sites of their Czech sponsors.
Adam Ondra was the 2nd on the European Championship in lead climbing in Campitello di Fassa, Italy. The Czech woman Iva Vejmolová finished in the semi-finals on 24th place. Czech Libor Hroza finished on 16th place in speed climbing.
