Czechs did not succeeded in the qualification in the World Cup competition in lead climbing in Imst, Austria. Domen Škofič (SLO) and Magdalena Röck (AUT) won today.

Czech mountaineers Mara Holecek and Ondra Mandula survived dangerous escape from the upper part of the South West Face Gasherbrum I (8068 m) where they tried to make the 1st ascent. They stuck there because of the weather. They spent in the wall 2 weeks and reached 7800 m.
Czech Martin Stráník finished the 17th on the World Cup competition in bouldering in Munich, Germany today. He did 2t4 4b9 result in semifinals. Tomoa Narasaki (JPN) and Miho Nonaka (JPN) won.
