Two Czechs Marek Holecek and Zdenek Hruby said today, thay had done the alpine style first ascent to the North West pillar of Talung (7349m) in Himalayas, Nepal.

A group of manufacturers issued last month a recall of certain via ferrata sets following a meeting of the UIAA (International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation) Safety Commission in Munich, Germany. A report was published on February 25th, 2013.
