Outdoor artificial concrete climbing wall in Prague 10, Strasnice, called Gutovka has been opened recently after several months of reconsruction of around environment.

Besides archives film footage there is also actual interview with Czech legendary climber and owner of large chain of outdoor stores Jidrich "Hudy" Hudecek as a Czech jumper.
Invitation for an international bouldering competition came from France. The event names Tout a blocs (TAB) and takes place in Quartz in l'Argentiere la Bessee (Briancon, eastern France) on July 30/August 2, 2008.
The winners of the competition are Dmitry Sharafutdinov (RUS) and Akiyo Noguchi (JPN). The best Czech was Silvie Rajfova who finished on 9th place among girls.
Vlado Plulik- climbing partner of Slovak Dodo Kopold- is missing from the last Thursday. Dodo Kopold who toped on Thursday Broad Peak (8047m), writes in mail published on his expedition site that Vlado Plulik probably fell down among glacier crevasses.
Appeal for mountaineering access to Slovakia’s High Tatra
The UIAA has called for fewer restrictions on mountaineers, climbers and trekkers in Slovakia’s High Tatra Mountains, intervening on behalf of the Slovakian Alpine Union.
Slovak Dodo Kopold toped Broad Peak (8047m) on Thursday. So far during his expedition, Baltoro Express, he has climbed Gasherbrum II (9.6.2008, 8035m), Gasherbrum I (15.6.2008, 8068m) and Broad Peak (26.6.2008, 8047m).
